Always use protection

As of today I’m introducing protected blogs. Some blog posts will not be appropriate to be checked out by all viewers for reasons that mostly relate to my job at the Kentucky Kernel. This allows my blogs to be more truthful and personal. While about half of my readership is coming from the same people, there is still a good portion a day that comes from random searches.

So from now on when you see a post that says protected, if you’re interested in reading you can email me at and request a password. As long as I know who you are I will most likely give you the password. Another way to get access is by commenting and requesting it. If you use this method you must include the title of the blog. For example: “Password requested for Shedding Dramatic Light”. Also, you must have a correct email included in your comment for me to respond to you.

Each blog post will have a different password. Sorry. It’s gotta be that way.
