Fully functional

Workshop coordinator Jim Winn doesn’t take intentional breaks.

I woke up around 6 am this morning, which I thought was early, only to find that it was really late, at least for Jim. He had been up all night for the second night in the row building our Web site for the workshop. After I had gone out and shot for several hour, I came back to find Jim still awake, pounding the keyboards and nearing a completed Web site.

Some of you are probably saying, you should have done it before you got there. But even the over analytics can’t be ahead of this guy. He had the site nearly complete (only lacking, um, you know, the workshop photos) when it crashed the day we got here. So Jim has burned all of his time and energy on fixing the problem.

He’s what is making this workshop develop and become better. Dave LaBelle and Chris Poore have done a very good thing and it works beautifully, but Jim is bringing new elements to the scene which I love.

PS – Vicky Cecil, if you’re looking for pictures, come back in a few days. I haven’t had time to get to that yet.

  1. I don’t know what we would do without Jim, Carla and the other coaches. They are awesome!
